Custom Clear Vinyl Systems for Outdoor Living
Weather Protection and Clear Views for Patios, Porches and Outdoor Spaces
Retracta Screen of the Carolinas installs custom clear vinyl screen systems for patios, porches, outdoor living areas and commercial spaces. Clear vinyl helps create a more protected outdoor environment by reducing exposure to wind, rain and colder temperatures while preserving visibility through the opening.
Clear Vinyl Porch & Patio Screens
Clear vinyl is a strong option when you want more weather protection than a standard mesh screen can provide. The transparent material helps block wind and rain while maintaining a clear view of the surrounding yard, patio or landscape.
Wind & Rain Protection
Help shield covered outdoor spaces from wind-driven rain and changing weather so the area can remain more comfortable in more conditions.
Clear Outdoor Views
Transparent vinyl preserves visibility through the opening instead of replacing the outdoor view with an opaque barrier.
Seasonal Comfort
Clear vinyl can help reduce exposure to colder air and make a porch or patio more usable during cooler parts of the year.
Where Clear Vinyl Screens Work Best
Clear vinyl systems can be custom-sized for a variety of outdoor openings. The right application depends on the structure, opening dimensions and how you want to use the space.
Covered Patios
Add protection from changing weather while keeping the patio visually connected to the outdoors.
Porches & Outdoor Rooms
Help create a more comfortable seasonal outdoor space without permanently blocking the view.
Outdoor Kitchens & Entertaining Areas
Reduce exposure to wind and weather around covered cooking, dining and gathering spaces.
Commercial Outdoor Areas
Clear vinyl can also be used for covered restaurant, café and other commercial outdoor spaces where visibility and weather protection are both important.
Manual & Motorized Clear Vinyl Options
Depending on the system and opening, clear vinyl screens may be available with manual or motorized operation. Motorized options can make it easier to raise or lower larger panels, while manual systems can be a practical choice for smaller or less frequently adjusted openings.
The best choice depends on the size of the opening, mounting conditions, frequency of use and the way the outdoor space is designed.
Looking mainly for insect protection, shade or airflow? Clear vinyl is designed for greater weather protection. If your priority is insects, sun or privacy while maintaining airflow, explore our Retractable Screens.
Professional Clear Vinyl Installation
A clear vinyl system performs best when the housing, tracks, panels and controls are matched to the opening and installed precisely. Our team measures the space, helps compare available options and installs the selected system for a clean, functional fit.
